"The Laceworks" home of Lucid lighting in an early painting.
It's hard to label the style of Lucid Lighting. "Transitional" or timeless are some much used
and perhaps the most appropriate terms. "Transitional" suggests that the designs and quality of finish
are evocative an earlier period than today and yet they are direct and modern in execution.
You will not find reproductions here but honest originals by architectural and industrial designer >Rob Wallace<.
He started with custom designing and fabricating lights for architectural projects in New York City.
Since then he founded Lucid Lighting to design, fabricate and market an ever expanding line of fixtures.
Lucid lighting has been shipped to almost every state in the US and many places overseas and used in residential
as well as commercial and nautical applications. Quality of design and construction
is the driving ambition at Lucid. These unique "transitional" designs are a favorite for so many architects, designers,
builders and home owners across the country. Lucid lights have always been
and always will be hand crafted in the US; never mass produced or made overseas.
The Lucid facility is located in "The Laceworks" (pictured above), a 19th century factory
on the Delaware River in Lambertville, New Jersey. All the lights are proudly made here
by local crafts people taking into account the unique needs of every installation.
